Who We Are

Paul Renick (President) brings a background in both management and carpentry to the Monmouth Players. He has been the Players’ President for the past 23 years. Paul is a carpenter by trade, residing in Highlands with his wife Lori and their three dogs.

 

Robert Kern (Vice-President) has been trotting the boards of local theaters in Northern and Central Jersey since his college days, so he brings a lot of years of experience working on stage and backstage to the Players, and always with the goal of providing a high level of entertainment for the audience.

 

Melanie Taylor (Treasurer and Executive Producer) – Melanie has been a high school drama teacher at Raritan High School and community theatre director for over 20 years. She is Vice-president of the New Jersey Drama and Forensics League and Artistic Director of Stage Left Players in Hazlet. She is also an accomplished makeup artist and loves directing the winter and summer shows here at the Players. Melanie lives in Atlantic Highlands and is devoted to her family.

 

Lori Renick (Treasurer and Artistic Director) is our Queen. There is nothing else that needs to be said!

 

Brandon Guerriero (Website Manager)has recently relocated to Ohio but expertly maintains the website from the Buckeye State. Brandon is an expert welder and machinist.

 

Heather Kelly (Printed Materials Chair) is responsible for all materials that are directly distributed to our Patrons, including mailers and programs. Heather is also responsible for the updated Monmouth Players website that you are now navigating. Heather lives in Eatontown.

 

Tom Mills (Member at Large)is a resident of West Keansburg and recent graduate of Raritan High School and a student at Brookdale Community College. Tom brings a wealth of technological and stage management to the Players and is working to keep the group up to date with the ever changing theater technology.

 

Givanna Robbins (Member at Large) is a resident of West Long Branch and a recent graduate of Farleigh Dickinson University with a BA in Theater Arts with an Acting Concentration. She is an English and Theater teacher at Colts Neck High School and is working to start a Forensics Team there. Givanna has experience both onstage and behind the scenes and loves working on independent films.

 

Joseph Farella (Member at Large) is an Underwriting Technician at Markel Corporation and a graduate of Kean University with a degree in Communications.

 

Alex Faerman oversees the Monmouth Players finances and is an able steward of your (our Patrons) generous donations.
